Peaches steps out in ultra long hair extensions
After having her hair transformed from blonde to cherry last week, wild child Peaches Geldof visited the swanky Inanch London at the weekend to have her locks extended too.
Her new look was created by the salon’s director Inanch Emir using Great Lengths 100 per cent human hair extensions in a deep plum shade to match her dye job.
The hairdresser, who counts numerous other celebrities as extensions clients, explains how the look was created: “Peaches' own hair was very short and she wanted to achieve both length and volume,” she explains. “We applied a full head of Great Lengths extensions (250 strands) of colour No. 33 (Plum/ Burgundy) in 50cm length normal texture. After the application, we finished off the hair with a root lift with slight curls at the ends to give Peaches' hair a more natural look with body and bounce.”
Paula Abdul gets Osmo treatment for unruly locks
Ex-American Idol judge Paula Abdul has turned to boutique hair brand Osmo to control her wayward extensions. The ‘80s pop star returned to Florida recently after a stint in London and requested the help of the brand’s artistic director, Alston Fraser, to tame her neglected locks.
“Paula’s extensions were packed in too tightly for her, so I removed some to give flexibility and movement to her hair,” the stylist says. “I then applied Osmo’s new Deep Repair Mask before using the Colour Mission Shampoo and Conditioner to give her hair a much-needed boost, then freshened the shape by softening the layers framing her face. She was delighted with the outcome, and if she stays true to her word, I’m now in charge of her hair.”
